Sedgwick County Extension events suspended

WICHITA — To ensure the safety and well-being of our community, K-State Research and Extension – Sedgwick County is taking precautions and proactively suspending the following events until further notice: www.sedgwick.k-state.edu/covid-19.html
All other Sedgwick County Extension events scheduled over the next several weeks will be evaluated individually, decisions about any additional postponements or cancelations will be announced as soon as possible, with direct notification of registered participants.
We feel it is our responsibility, as a research-based organization, to take this situation seriously, practice social distancing, and do what we can to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
We encourage people to stay home and away from others when they are sick, to practice good health habits, and to comply with the CDC and local public health recommendations to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
This is a developing situation, K-State Research and Extension will continue to seek the latest updates and follow the advisement of the Sedgwick County Health Department and K-State Research and Extension.
