Design & Grow Gardening Workshop

Design & Grow is an annual event packed with ideas and information for beginning and longtime gardeners alike. It provides an opportunity to learn from the pros, garner ideas for your garden and landscape, and find inspiration in new plants and gardening experiences. This year, Design and Grow was held on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Gardening Classes in partnership with the Wichita Public Library

Free gardening classes are scheduled twice a year, in the spring and in the fall, in partnership with the Wichita Public Library. They are typically offered both in person, and virtually via Zoom if preferred. For information on the most current class offerings check our events calendar, or go to the Wichita Public Library gardening events page to register.

Tools & Treasures Sale

This yearly spring shopping extravaganza is a gardeners dream and includes new and gently used gardening tools, containers/planters, bird feeders/bird houses, and other miscellaneous items too numerous to list.  In 2023, Tools & Treasures was held March 30 - April 1.

Spring Garden Fair

Get a fresh start on your gardening each year at the Spring Garden Fair, held annually in early May. The Fair includes a huge plant sale, booths with representatives from area garden clubs for advice and information, and educational activities about a variety of gardening topics.

Garden Tour

The annual Garden Tour features several local gardens showcasing a range of landscape and plant options suited to our area, and provides a great way to get ideas for your own yard. Check our event calendar for more info on this popular annual event.
