Election of Sedgwick County Extension Council

 

Eligibility Requirements of Candidates:

Each member is elected for a two-year term and may be elected for two consecutive terms. To qualify for election to the council, a candidate must be a resident of the county and at least 18 years of age when elected.

Eligibility Requirements of Voters:

Anyone who is a resident of Sedgwick County and 18 years of age or older is eligible to vote. One vote per person.

Sedgwick County residents are encouraged to vote and elect 24 members to the Extension Council.

The Extension Council is a key component of the Cooperative Extension service.

They are strong supporters of Extension within their community and work closely with agents to help develop future educational programming for Sedgwick County residents.
