Pollution Prevention Institute

The K-State Pollution Prevention Institute (PPI) was established in 1989 and their main offices are in Ward Hall 133 on the K-State campus. PPI also has offices in Wichita, Olathe, and Salina. Specialists work in their communities and with business and industry assisting with process efficiencies that can save businesses time and money.

PPI's vision is for a healthy Kansas environment that fosters economic and environmental sustainability and growth.

PPI's mission is to promote sustainability through environmental education and services to industry and institutions. These services include environmental compliance and pollution prevention technical assistance.

PPI houses the Kansas Small Business Environmental Assistance Program (SBEAP).
